2008.10.15 Car-O-Liner Academy Thailand held a 4 day training session for a team of technicians from Toyota Lanka, KIA Carplan Ltd., Formula World, Samarasingha Motors Ltd. & from the technical schools Cegtti and Institute of Automotive Engineers.

The training which included theory as well as hands-on training focused on:

   • Anchoring and Holding with Car-O-Liner’s new universal 
     anchoring & holding system EVO. 

   • Set-up & repair on Car-O-Liner’s bench system Mark 6. 

   • Mechanical Measuring with Car-O-Mech – Car-O-Liner’s
     high-precision mechanical measuring system. 

   • Computerized measuring with Car-O-Tronic Vision –
     Car-O-Liner’s world class computerized measuring system. 

   • Car-O-Data Vehicle Information - the world's largest
     & most reliable vehicle information database. 

   • Spot and Mig welding with Car-O-liner’s quality assured
     high efficient welders. 

   • Induction heating with the new induction heater CH37.

An educational visit to a Toyota Training Centre was also on the agenda. The purpose with this visit was to show the Sri Lankan technical college and training schools how Toyota is handling their training and show them the facilities of Toyota Thailand especially in Body and Paint operations.
